Rio de Janeiro City Tours

Sugar Loaf Half Day
The tour begin with a visit to Downtown with a stop at Metropolitan Cathedral, then we'll drive to "Praia Vermelha", to take the two-stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf (270m), which grants the entrance to Rio's harbor and Guanabara Bay. The first stage is Morro da Urca with 170m, with a restaurant, amphitheater and helicopter-point. The second stage goes on the Sugar Loaf itself.

Corcovado Half Day
After a beautiful scenic drive along Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon beaches and Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado hill where they will embark on a comfortable train which will go along the beautiful Mountain, where the statue of Christ, the Redeemer, overlooks Rio in a magnificent panorama.

Brazilian Samba Show
Night in Rio is a meeting point and makes the heart beat faster. Visit the "escolas de samba" as they open their dance floors for "rehearsals"(a combination of a party and a pep rally), in preparation for the coming Carnival. Begin with dinner at typical barbecue restaurant for a non-stop feast of Brazilian meats, salads, vegetables and drinks.

We will see the old Rio, with a specialized guide through Rio historical center. Full day tour to the village of Itacuruçá , located 1 ½ hour south of Rio de Janeiro , with its simple houses of fishermen.
The typical boat that looks like a schooner cruises the Sepetiba Bay , an area rich in natural beauty.
A stop is made for a swim and then the schooner continues to the island of Itacuruça where a delicious lunch self-service buffet will be waiting for the visitors. There will be a time to explore the Island before the return.

Macuco Boat Tour - Guanabara Bay
This tour is focused on historical and cultural facts along with moments of emotion and adventure without setting on shore during the trip.

Here are some of the places seen during the adventure: Glória Church , W.W II Fallen´s Memorial, MAM, Santos Dumont Airport , statue of Christ the Redeemer and Marina da Glória.

Outlining the carioca seafront of the Bay's inner side, you can have a full view of Flamengo Beach , PARNA Tijuca with it's mountains, Botafogo Small Bay , Urca and Sugar Loaf. The Botanical Garden was first planted by Dom Joao in 1808. More than 6,200 varieties of plants are spread over 141 hectares . At the weekends you will meet many families, but during weekdays it is really quiet and peaceful.

The row of palms right in the main entry and the Amazonas section with its huge vitoria-regia water lilies are some of the highlights.

We will visit as well the Catacumba Park . It exhibits sculptures by visual artists of international renown. Besides viewing these works of art, the visitor can venture into a 20-minute walk along a 350 meter trail to a look-out where the view is simply fabulous.

This city is located in the Serra dos Orgaos, only one hour from Rio de Janeiro . There we will visit the Imperial Museum , old summer residence of the imperial family during the 19thCentury. During our stay in Petropolis , we will visit the Crystal Palace and the Sao Pedro de Alcantara Neolithic Cathedral. We will be able to see a fabulous collection of art objects and jewels, including the famous Imperial Crown.

Iguassu Falls

Consisting of a trip in an open wagon accompanied by a specialized guide. Ride 2 km in the forest at a reduced speed, hearing explanations and curiosities of the native flora and fauna. We continue on foot up to the margin of the Iguassu river where a motor boat departs, specially prepared that takes the tourist on one of the most moving trips, where one has a close-up view of the falls, hearing the thunder of the waters, and getting wet in the mist of the falls, unforgettable.

Our trip begins at the Iguassu National Park Visitor's Center where we board for a drive through the subtropical vegetation of the park to the falls. Stroll the trail descending the canyon that offers the most panoramic view of the more than 240 different falls. Penetrate the mist of the Devil's Throat on the main walkway. Take the glass elevator up the cliff face for a view from the upper deck. The Iguassu National Park along with its “sister” park in Argentina forms the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone which together with the cataracts has been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge with its lovely view of the Iguassu Canyon en route to the Iguassu National Park in Argentina . Visit the upper walkways which allow a different perspective and more intimate contact with the falls and adjoining rainforest filled with orchids, bromeliads, birds and other wildlife. The highlight of the trip is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the abysmal Devil's Throat - largest of the waterfalls. This trip shows you the highlights of the Argentine side.

We will drive to the Sapiranga Nature Reserve (25km) where you can enjoy the 4 activities offered:
Canoe
We will embark on a motorized canoe for the 30-minute excursion, traveling upstream to its navigable limit, where you will find a spectacular view of the surrounding forest.
Zip Line
The group will traverse the Pojuca River on 2 zip lines of 200 meters each. All the equipment and procedures are thoroughly prepared to ensure a safe, thrill of emotion.
Tubing
Guaranteed fun on the descent of small rapids or simple floating while on specially-crafted innertubes
Sapiranga Nature Reserve
A 30-minute interpretive hike through the Sapiranga Nature Reserve, reminiscent of a rainforest.

Praia do Forte

Praia do Forte is a town with many options for shopping including local crafts and souvenirs. The Tamar Sea Turtle Preservation Project Visitors' Center is the perfect place for participants to learn firsthand about the five species of sea turtles that reproduce in Bahia . The center has several tanks and aquariums with fish and sea turtles of many species and sizes, a museum, informative panels, videos and a gift shop selling products with the Tamar logo.

We will visit the ruins of the Garcia D'Ávila Castle, a unique example of 16th century medieval architecture in the Americas and one of the earliest large-scale Portuguese construction projects in Brazil.

Historical Tour

You will be picked up at your hotel and begin your half day tour following to the Farol da Barra (the lighthouse), passing by the Santa Maria Fortress and Barra Harbour. From there you go to the upper city through the Corredor da Vitória, Campo Grande and Piedade. Awaiting us in the upper city is the highlight of the tour, the Pelourinho.

Pelourinho is considered the most important that exists in the world today bye UNESCO, filled with a rich collection of 17th and 18th century colonial architecture.

Bahia By Night

A night focusing on the wealth of Bahian culture. The presentation begins with the sacred dances of the Candomblé, then puxada de rede in honour of Yemanjá, the goddess of the sea, followed maculelê, an acrobatic stick and sword dance from the cane fields. The highlight of the show is an exhilarating display of capoeira, the stunning martial art/dance of Angolan origin. The show ends with the samba de roda, a spinning, swirling version of this exuberant national dance. Dinner is buffet of international and Bahia cuisine served in the area that was once the warehouse.
